About Me
My name is Diem-Chau Le, or Cecilia Le. I'm a journalist who was born and raised in Vietnam, with a cross-cultural reporting background shaped by four years of education and field experience in the United States and Vietnam. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University in May 2025 with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice.
My work spans newspapers, television and digital platforms. I've reported as a writer, on-camera correspondent and digital producer, with bylines and contributions published by CBS News Texas, The Texas Tribune, TCU 360, TCU Magazine, as well as Tuoi Tre Online and Vietnam Investment Review.
I am currently a world news reporter at VTC News, mainly covering Vietnam, the U.S. and China's foreign policy, the United Nations and other international organizations, alongside key developments across East and Southeast Asia.
I love to read, travel, and learn new languages. These hobbies help me understand different people and tell better stories, as I believe strong reporting begins with listening, questioning, and seeking perspectives beyond the obvious.
